State Testing for 5th Grade May 19th - May 27th and Make Up Days for 3rd and 4th Grade

**SBA testing - Third and fourth grade students are mostly complete. There are a few make ups happening this week. Please make sure students are well rested and ready to complete their testing.**

The Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) testing for Fifth Grade begins on May 19th, and we want to ensure all students are prepared and present on testing days. The SBA is an important measure of student learning in math, English language arts and science. These assessments help us understand your child’s progress and guide future instruction.

Please mark your calendars and avoid scheduling appointments during testing days. Family trips taken during an entire assessment window will be marked as unexcused. Encourage plenty of rest the night before testing. Send your student to school on time after eating a healthy breakfast. Most of all, provide positive encouragement and remind them to do their best.
